In the spring of 2023, Syllo co-founders, CEO Jeffrey Chivers and COO Theodore Rostow, joined John A. Garver Professor of Jurisprudence William Eskridge Jr. to lecture on artificial intelligence at Yale Law School. AI and the Possibilities for the Legal Profession — and Legal Education describes how the course, “Artificial Intelligence, the Legal Profession, and Procedure,” provided students with a grounding in the technical basics of AI to enable them to think more critically about the uses, implications, and ethics of AI in the practice of law.
Litigators understand that real innovation within the legal profession requires a deep understanding of the legal domain as well as technical expertise. Chivers notes in the article that AI’s journey in the legal field began with applications to e-discovery, but future innovations will adaptably support litigators across their practice, amplifying human expertise and transforming the way legal professionals work.
Syllo is committed to developing innovative AI solutions built with an understanding of the realities of legal practice that serve as a powerful tool and a trusted partner for litigators. By integrating AI into a workspace designed for litigators, Syllo empowers human ingenuity and enables litigators to obtain better outcomes for their clients.
