After a thorough vetting and a process of hands-on trial use, Ballard Spahr has deployed Syllo’s AI-powered litigation platform to enhance the capabilities of its case teams. The collaboration illustrates Ballard and Syllo’s shared commitment to elevate the quality and efficiency of legal practice through innovation and AI.

Ballard Spahr’s Litigation Department, led by Chair Jason A. Leckerman, made the decision to have Syllo available to its teams after being convinced, among several factors, that Syllo was architected to maintain the highest standards of security and data confidentiality. Further noting the uniqueness of Syllo’s litigation-focused tool set, Mr. Leckerman said it was more than just an efficiency gain, stating, “It wasn’t that it would save us or our clients lots of money. It was more that this was going to make us better at what we did.”

By applying our agentic AI to complex tasks such as reviewing tens of thousands of documents and identifying deficiencies in opposing counsel’s production, Ballard Spahr has been able to achieve in hours what would have traditionally taken days or weeks. That’s the shared belief and practice of Syllo’s partnerships with firms; AI should make litigators better at what they do. Ballard Spahr is proving that the future of litigation is already here.
