Syllo was founded in 2019 by two litigation attorneys and two Carnegie Mellon University engineers , who had independently come to the conclusion that litigation was among the highest-stakes areas of legal practice, and stunningly inefficient.

We founded Syllo with a focus on building the data infrastructure, workflows, and knowledge infrastructure into which language models are most powerfully woven. This began with our Unified Platform, which consolidates allows legal professionals to manage the entire litigation lifecycle end-to-end, from complaint through trial. Our award-winning Agentic AI Issue tagging, released in 2024, offers best-in-class document review capabilities with 99% precision and 20 times the throughput of traditional methodologies. The Litigation Agent expand our capabilities to include powerful autonomous legal analysis.
Our talented, multi-disciplinary team has iterated meticulously on these foundations to create what Syllo is today, the first unified Litigation AI platform built to handle the unique complexity and scale of high-stakes commercial litigation.
